Gate of Heaven Roman Catholic Church

We at Gate of Heaven are dedicated to our youth. It's often said that the youth are the future of the Church. We don't believe that statement to be quite true. We believe that the youth are the Church now. That being said, we strive to engage Jr. high and Sr. high youth in various facets of the church so that they feel they can make a difference now.

The Back Mountain Catholic Youth Council was established in the fall of 2000. It is comprised of the youth from Gate of Heaven, Our Lady of Victory, St. Therese, and St. Frances X. Cabrini Churches. It is open to anyone in grades 6-8 (Jr. high) and 9-12 (Sr. high).

The Back Mt. High School Youth Council is made up of 9th through 12th grade students interested in planning, organizing, and implementing service projects, social events, and retreat experiences. The group meets twice a month from October - June.

A speaker series for Young Adults,
ages 18 to 40, single or married, to
meet together in a relaxing atmosphere. Through lively conversations and interesting speakers young adults have a chance to reflect on their faith and connect with other young adults.

This is a monthly event held on the last Tuesday of every month!
