PARISH MINISTRIES
The Gate of Heaven Parish community is grateful for the gift of your service. Please feel free to offer your time and talent in thanksgiving for God's generosity.

PASTORAL CARE OF THE SICK
For emergencies, please contact the Parish office. In case of illness or age, arrangements may be made for the Sacrament of the sick at any time. Arrangements may also be made to bring Holy Communion to the sick or elderly on a regular basis.

VACATION BIBLE SCHOOL
Vacation bible school is held each year in July at the Gate of Heaven gym and Middle School Building from 9:30AM to 11:30AM. Bible school is open to children from ages 4 years up to those going into 4th grade.  Students going into 5th grade and up may be assistants. 

RELIGIOUS EDUCATION
Religious formation is essential for the growth of faith in all Christians. Pre-school through eighth grade students attend sessions on Sunday morning at 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM. High school students aide in the Program. For further information, please call Sunny Cesarini at 675-6488

R.C.I.A.
Adults who feel called by God to seek full communion within the Roman Catholic Church are invited to participate in the RCIA. The Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults is a community of believers who discover their own relationship with Christ. RCIA information is available at Sunny's office.

CHRISTIAN INITIATION
The three Sacraments of Christian Initiation; Baptism, Confirmation and Eucharist, bring us all to the full stature of Christ and enable us to carry on the mission of evangelization. Information regarding Sacramental preparation and celebrations is available through our Religious Education Coordinator. Baptisms are regularly celebrated during any of the Sunday Liturgies. Parents should notify the Pastor several months before the date on which they intend to celebrate the Baptism.

MARRIAGE
Christian marriage is a sacred and serious commitment requiring spiritual, intellectual and emotional preparation. Couples contemplating marriage should make arrangements with the Pastor at least six months before the date on which they intend to marry. This should be done before any arrangements are made so that the couple may be suitably served by the parish and the diocese.

YOUTH GROUP
All youth in grades 6th thru 12th are welcome to join the Gate of Heaven Youth Group. Call Miss Beth Abrams for more information.
